Great location! Right in the heart of the city, close to all the action. the room was big and clean, with a comfortable bed. the kitchenette was handy, and the fridge was a nice addition. the shower was great, and the toiletries provided were a nice touch. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast in the restaurant was delicious. the WiFi was fast and reliable.
Be aware that the hotel is located in a lively area, so it can get noisy at night, especially during weekends. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs.

Ideal location just off underground, everything great. Nice service overall. Location in the city center...
Lamp should be added.

Amazing location! Right in the centre of everything. The place had a lot of character, pleasant room, nice staff, good breakfast. Perfect for a city break.
Very noisy from early Saturday morning as room was right by the hotel laundry, very thin walls. Bathroom was an obstacle course as they had squeezed in a bidet where there wasn't really room so getting in and out of shower was difficult. Only small niggles though, would recommend.

We would definitely come back, it met standards. Staff are pleasant and honest, they are doing nice job. The design is modern. Breakfast consists of a great selection of meals, including butter and cheese. The apartment is particularly good, right in the heart of Madrid.
Nothing to fault.

the apartamentos el tiempo is clean and conveniently located just two minutes from the metro. there are plenty of restaurants downstairs for easy dining options. the receptionist - an ex-airhostess - is lovely and very helpful. the room is equipped with a kitchen - including plates - glasses - pots, and even a wine opener. the location is perfect with several nearby metro stations and a 24/7 supermarket. it's surprisingly quiet despite being on a busy street. the daily cleaning service is a nice touch. they also provide a balcony - even though it's small. there is enough hot water - a lift for easy access, and they gave us two sets of keys for our convenience.
Do recommend.

Great place to stay if you want to be central. It is easily accessible from the airport using the very regular metro system to Sol. Hotel was 5mins walk from the metro so it would have been easy to use it to travel throughout the city but we walked everywhere thereafter. The Retiro, Antocha Station, all the main squares and sights were easily accessible. Breakfasts were tasty and plentiful. Staff were really helpful. We ate in the bar one night - food was very good too. Our room for 4 was quiet, clean and basic apart from the shower which was great.
We would have appreciated something to eat before we left for the airport on our last day - not too early at 6.00am although I know the bar was probably open till the early hours. Also was a bit concerned about fire arrangements. We were 4 floors up and no evidence of a fire escape. I had our escape route planned but it would have meant clambering over roof tops. Not a happy prospect!

the staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was very good
The location is in the centre of Madrid and you are in the middle of everything. Unfortunately this has as an advantage that it is very noisy when you have a room at the street site.

Mind-blowingly clean property with a jaw-droppingly central location. Easy-to-reach and close to attractions. Super equipped kitchen, free wifi, and daily cleaning service. Elevator, air conditioning, and flat-screen tv. 24-hour reception and security. No pets or smoking allowed. Paid airport shuttle available. No worries, just pure satisfaction!

This is a cheap though clean and rather comfortable hotel. Rooms are more or less spacy but some of them have a very poor natural lighting since the windows are very small. The staff is professional and friendly. This hotel perfectly suit those who are keen on impetuous night "movida" of Madrid: two minutes walk to the famouse square Sol and a lot of youth cafes all around.
The elevator stops between the floors and somebody could find this inconvenient.

Excellent location and quiet rooms available.
Beds were rather small and very hard - but we did pay budget rates

Loved the rustic vibe with wooden beams and stone walls. Enjoyed a nice meal at the on-site restaurant and had a drink at the cozy bar. The Prado and Thyssen Bornemisza Museums were just a short 15-minute walk away.
The staff could have been nicer, but hey, who needs friendly service when you have wooden beams and stone walls?

Perfect Location - the only advantage of this hotel
We were in december - it was cold, temperature in bathroom was around 10 C! The room was very dark, Breakfest very poor.

I was delighted to visit the Convent of the Royal Barefoot Nuns Monasterios de las Descalzas Reales, and Apartamentos El Tiempo was the perfect choice due to its convenient location in Centro, Madrid's historic core. The hotel's multilingual staff pleasantly surprised me, always ready to assist and communicate effectively. Additionally, the restaurant at Apartamentos El Tiempo Madrid offered an exquisite a la carte breakfast, serving delectable local dishes throughout the day.
Difficult reaching hosts, separate building from front desk, incorrect phone number.
Tourists from United States of America often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
